The consolidated United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Idaho are accepting applications for the position of Court Reporter. There are three offices within the District of Idaho: Boise, Coeur d’Alene, and Pocatello. Assignment of the position will be in the Boise office. The incumbent will report to the Courtroom Services Supervisor in the Clerk’s Office. The Court Reporter will be assigned to a District Judge and may from time to time provide court reporting services to other judges as needed. Freelance reporter would need own transportation in order to travel to surrounding area. Reporter will also need to provide all equipment necessary to record and transcribe proceedings. Idaho or National certification (or temporary certificate) is required. Real Time certification is helpful, but not required. You will be required to register as a Notary Public.
